Job Title: Software Sales Representative

Location:
Lagos

Job Description:
In the bid to properly communicate our products to respective potential buyers, we seek the services of a professional software sales representative. Our ideal / potential candidate must possess the following:

Responsibility
  • Selling software products and SaaS to individuals and corporate organizations according to their needs
  • Identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities, to generate a strong pipeline
  • Meeting and exceeding weekly, monthly and quarterly Key Performance Indicators (KPI's)
  • Maintains a high level of attention to detail managing all respective sales activities (notes, followups, emails, call logs)
  • Responsible for achieving aggressive weekly targets such as minimum 3040 new prospects contacted per week and a minimum contact of 5 attempts per prospect.
  • Obtains prospect names, email addresses, product vendor information, entity information for each prospect. Tracks the number of daily activities/tasks, call quality, appointment setting, and sales skills.
  • Prepares customer proposals and responses to requests for information from prospects
  • Followsup to determine next steps, answer questions, and addresses concerns
  • Maintains and updates weekly sales report for management review
  • Delivering innovative and creative solutions by drawing upon technical and commercial experience to close deals
  • Keeping up to date with latest product developments and turning these into selling points
Benchmarks
  • Prospects contacted weekly via email, calls, and direct visitation between 40 and 50 for all the products.
  • Distribution / submission of product introductory letters, proposals, brochures and other product materials to cluster of relevant audience.
  • Aggregation of all customer feedbacks, inputs and requests for detail analysis.
  • Monthly target demo/new proposals activity of 2030 demos/proposals for each of the products you are directly responsible for.
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales target on each of the products responsible for.

Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's degree and 3-5 year's work experience in software sales environment or equivalent related work experience.
  • It is important that the candidate demonstrates enthusiasm and motivation for success.

  • Excellent interpersonal/communication skills.
  • Familiar with office software tools.
