Kaduna AIDS Indicator Survey (KADAIS) - The KADAIS is a behavioral and biological survey aimed at obtaining information and evidence that will help to describe the HIV epidemic amongst adults and children, assess the coverage of HIV services and measure HIV-related risk behaviors on the population level to provide useful, actionable data to guide the HIV response, to be conducted in all 23 LGAs in Kaduna State, Nigeria.

The survey is being Supported by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in collaboration with the Kaduna State Ministry of Health (SMOH), Kaduna State Agency for the Control of AIDS (KADSACA), Center for Integrated Health Program (CIHP) and other partners in the State.

We require the services of resourceful and experienced professionals for the vacant position below for the Kaduna AIDS indicator Survey (KADAIS):

Job Title: Senior Survey Coordinator

Location: Kaduna

Job Description

• Incumbent, working closely with the CDC, SMOH and KADSACA will provide technical guidance to the Survey Committees to gain a clear understanding of the survey objectives and the overall management of the survey in Kaduna State.
• Oversee each stage of the survey implementation process and ensure collaboration with the survey committees, ensuring that the KADAIS protocol is being followed in all 23 LGAs of Kaduna state.
• Keep monthly up-to-date project tracking reports and deliverables.

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills & Ability

• Minimum of Bachelors degree in one of the following disciplines: Medicine, Public Health; Epidemiology; or Behavioral Sciences.
• At least five years post NYSC experience in public health and research including implementing a public health program preferably in Kaduna State.
• Strong skills in epidemiological research with good field research experience.
• Demonstrable experience in participating at supervisory level in any National surveys e.g IBBSS, NARHS or NARHS-Plus.

General Requirements/Conditions

• The position require candidates that are proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite, computer applications and Internet/ Emails.
• Effective written and verbal communication and presentation skills and ability to work in a team are essential.
• This assignment is for a duration of one year.
• Successful candidates will be based in KADSACA office, Kaduna.
