I wonder why Management/Administrative courses are not classified as professional. We need to know that no organization or country or state can survive without administrative and management support.
More of whatever we do on a daily bases as individual or as organizations or govermnet lies more on management. Please we are begging you to include Management and Admin to be part of the schorlaship.

When shall we stop deceiving ourselves? For how many years have Nigerian governments been sending science students abroad? What level of development is here today? If there is any by whose sense and expertise Nigerians or Foreigners? What is the rationale behind sending local science students abroad?Have the aims and objectives been been achieved over the years? The problem of Nigeria and Africa is Leadership and Governance, this is the bedrock on which our society stands.Over fifty years of indepedence we are yet to master the act of Governing the nation. Why relegate courses in the Humanities and others to the background?I wish Nigerian governments will learn from history of Revolutions world over-one thing is common,INEQUALITY AND DEPRIVATION.The Niger Delta Development Commission as an interventionist agency was a brainchild of the deep rooted suffering and marginilisation of the Niger Delta Areas. What baffles me most is the reason why the only language our governmemts, companies, commissions etc.understands is public outcry, why?Award of scholarships should encompass all the disciplines and faculties.I personally have predicted revolution for this country because of the way things are done. The newly constituted board of NDDC made public vacancies, all sciences no consideration given to other field of studies.Past adminisrations of NDDC collected resumes from graduates either for placement or skill acquisation for several occassions,i was part of it.But never came true. This probably was because the graduates did not blow off oil pipes or did not shut oil platform. Now we have realised the only language our institutions understands is violence. The militants did theirs in a crude way because of their level of literacy but ours will be more advanced. The NDDC is not fair to other disciplines. This new administration should do well by correcting the anomalies inherent in the commission.
