We are recruiting to fill the below position:

Job Title: Accountant

Location: Lagos

Description

• As the Accountant he/she will be responsible for maintaining Accounting books, records and entries. The Accountant reports to the Finance Director.

Key Accountabilities

• Maintain the accounting books and records - accounting entries
• Customer and supplier balances reconciliation and proposal of payment schedule
• Perform other auxiliary tasks depending on department needs such as:
• Expense Reports
• Issue invoices
• Bank Reconciliations
• Participation in the monthly reporting process
• Filing documents
• Other reports requested by the CFO
• Prepare Tax forms for payment and taking care for all the payments
• Prepare the monthly salary for the company employee and the tax computation.
• Any other request by the CFO.

Requirements
Knowledge/Skills/Experience:

• CPA
• Minimum 5 years of experience in an Accounting Department
• Excellent use of MS Office, especially in using advanced Excel
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
• Advanced communication and presentation skills
• Team player
• Knowledge of IFRS would be a definite plus

• Patience
• Attention to detail and strong sense of responsibility
