The Nigerian Idol Season 5 Registration for Audition 2015 is going on now. Talented candidates are invited to register online. Nigerian Idol is an annual talent hunt programme, its aims and objectives includes bringing out the best in the country's music and movie industry, discover the most talented Nigerian movie and music stars who will bear the Nollywood flag and represent the face of Nigerian entertainment for the year and to serve as a national pool of naturally talented Nigerians from which stakeholders in the movie and music industries can always draw casts for their productions, among others.

Nigerian Idol exposes hidden Nigerian talents to take their rightful place in the scheme of events in the Nigerian movie and music scenes and our mission is to fulfill the life career dreams of music artists and actors who are disadvantaged

The selection process for the programme will take place on a zonal Auditions in PORT HARCOURT, BENIN, ABUJA, IBADAN and LAGOS. Winners from these zones will then be put through a competition at the grand finale that will produce the Nigerian Idol in the movie and music industries respectively.

Entering is as easy as 1 - 2 - 3

1.) Register yourself online
2.) Send name and preferred audition location to 5599 from any Etisalat line only. (N100 per SMS)
3.) You will receive a confirmation SMS which you will have to present at the audition venue.

REQUIREMENTS
You must be able to prove at the time of your registration and audition that:

• You are a legal Nigerian citizen or a permanent Nigerian resident who is eligible to work full-time in Nigeria.
• You are 16 to 28 years old.

BENIN CITY
Audition Date: 10th January, 2015.
Venue: Excalibur Hotel. 23 -27 Etete Road off Adesuwa College Road, off Sapele Road GRA, Benin City.

PORT HARCOURT
Audition Date: 17th January, 2015.
Venue: Xcape Centre, 119 Stadium Road, Port-Harcourt.

ABUJA
Audition Date: 24th January, 2015.
Venue: Bolton White Hotels, 7 Gwandu Street, Area II Garki, Abuja.

IBADAN
Audition Date: 31st January, 2015.
Venue: Kakanfo Inn and Conference Centre, 1 Nihinlola Street, Off Joyce B Road, Ring Road, Ibadan.

LAGOS
Audition Date: 7th - 9th February, 2015.
Venue: Dream Studios, 1 Bamako Street, Opposite Omole Phase 1, Ojodu-Berger, Lagos.
