Job Title: Group Head Human Resource Manager

Location: Lagos

Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop & Implement human resources policies with over 230 staff across head office and branches.
• Handle the staffing process (selection, interviewing & placement)
• Ensure compliance to the companies human resource policy and strategy.
• Ensure compliance with best practice in Human resource activities.
• Develop compensation strategy for the company that supports corporate plan.
• Develop pay structure for all job titles and grades in the organisation.
• Develop job description, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), staff competencies for each job title in the organisation.
• Carry out monthly verification of staff head count by consistently monitoring recruitment of new staff in various branches.
• Arrange and carry out orientation programmes for all new hires.
• Prepare training programmes for all employees after conducting skill audit.
• Career counselling and development
• Mentoring
• Work with departmental heads to resolve employee relation issues.
• Provide advice, assistance and follow-up on company policies, procedures, and documentation.
• Coordinated the resolution of specific policy-related and procedural problems and inquiries.
• Recommend, develop and maintain human resource data bases, computer software systems, and manual filing systems.
• Develop and recommend operating policy and procedural improvements.
• Prepares employee separation notices and related documentation, and conducts exit interviews to determine reasons behind separations.
• Demonstrate the ability to take initiative/ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Development of Training materials for in house training during Monday business meetings.
• Wages & salaries administration processes

Experience Required

• A minimum of 15 years experience in the Human Resources organization on a strategic level, in a corporate environment
• Relevant Human Resources, Project Management and process design & implementation experience related to HR and internal Business projects.
• People management experience of HR managers or senior HR employees
• Understanding diversity aspects and requirements
