College Librarian at Niger State College of Agriculture

Niger State College of Agriculture, Mokwa was established in June 1979 as an arm of the Niger State Ministry of Agriculture and Natural Resources.

We are recruiting candidate to fill the below position:

Job Title: College Librarian

Location: Mokwa, Niger State.

Responsibilities

• The College Librarian who is one till the Principal Officers of the College is responsible to the Provost for the day-to-day activities and smooth running of administration of the College Library.

Requirements

• Candidates must possess a minimum of a Master Degree in Library Science and Information Technology, from recognized University with a minimum of 15 years post qualification cognate experience in a tertiary institution plus registration with professional library body.
• Must not hold presently a position lower than Chief Librarian.
• Must be computer literate, that is he must be knowledgeable in lCT.
• Must be mentally and physically sound to effectively discharge responsibilities of the office.

Terms of Appointment:

• The Provost shall hold office for 4 years arid may be appointed for another period of 4 years upon satisfactory performance only.
• The Salary 5 consolidated and he/she shall enjoy other fringe benefits 01 the office as may be approved by the Governing Council or any other appropriate Authority.
