Qualifications for 1 - 27 Positions
Professor – must have Ph.D in relevant fields, plus at least 12 years post qualification experience and must show evidence of teaching/ research experience in a University or Institution of similar standing. He or she must provide evidence of scholarly publications in learned journals.
Associate Professor- Same as Professor, but with 10years post qualification experience.
Senior Lecturer – Ph.D in relevant field, with 6years post qualification experience and other requirement as indicated in that professors.
Lecturer I – Ph.D at least two (2) years post qualification experience and scholarly publications in relevant area of specialization.
Lecturer II – Ph.D or M.Sc with at least 3years post qualification experience in relevant filed, plus scholarly publications.
Assistant Lecturer- M.Sc in relevant field. Evidence of registration for a Ph.D programme will be an added advantage.
Graduate Assistant- Candidate must possess a First Class or Second class Upper Division Degree in relevant field.
Candidates for the post of Deputy Librarian, Senior Librarian must have at least Master’s Degree in Library Science or related discipline, while Librarian I & II must at least possess a good first degree. Ph.D is an added advantage for the posts of Deputy Librarian and Senior Librarian.
