Job Title: Accounts Assistant

Location: Nigeria

Key Responsibilities
The Accounts Assistant will be expected to perform the following tasks:

• Reconciling finance accounts
• Maintaining spreadsheets and specific excel files
• Assist in filing and keeping proper books of account
• Preparing statutory accounts as directed by the Accounts officer or Accountant
• Managing daily post in and out
• Handling and writing cheques
• Receiving and processing all invoices, expense forms and requests for payment
• Verifying calculations working with the Accounts system
• Managing petty cash transactions

Desired Skills & Experience

• OND in Accounting.
• Possession of AAT certificate is an added advantage
• Minimum of 2 years cumulative experience in accounts or similar job function
• Membership of ICAN is an advantage
• Must possess strong analytical skills
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office skills like Word, Outlook, and Excel
• Experience with Accounting Software Packages is an advantage
