Michael Stevens Consulting - Our client is a recently established company, designed to provide integrated consulting and project management services to companies in the Power Generation, Transmission and Distribution Industry, as well as other Power Utilities. It also has as its core objective, the design and delivery of a range of education and training programmes to meet the manpower requirements of the Power Industry.

It is now seeking for self managed individuals, with a high level of expertise and drive, as well as effective leadership skills to assume the responsibilities inherent in the below position:

Job Title: Head Business Development

Location: Lagos

Responsibilities

• The required candidates will drive the business development initiatives of the Company to meet revenue and profit objectives.
• Apart from the activities highlighted for the Head, Power Project position, the appointee will be involved in developing the market for the Company's education/training programmes, the supply of a range of Power Equipment, and Power Utilities Maintenance contracts from Banks, Telecom Companies, Commercial Buildings and Residential Estates.

Requirements

• Suitable candidates are therefore expected to have a very good knowledge of the Power/Utilities Industry, and will ideally, have senior level contacts across a range of companies, in the Power Industry as well as other Corporates.
• Qualifications in the Engineering Sciences, Business Administration or Marketing with not less than eight (8) years relevant Business Development experience will be required for these positions.
• This position will constitute part of Executive Management Team of the Company, which is an associated company of a well respected Engineering Consulting Firm.
