Duties

• The successful candidate will serve as the Administrative Head of the University of Nigeria Medical Services and will also care for the health of students, staff and their families in both campuses.
• He must also participate in call duties and initiate Public Health measures.
• He is directly responsible to the Vice-Chancellor.

Qualifications and Experience

• Candidates must be registrable with the Nigerian Medical Council and also must have had not less than 15 years experience in general medical practice, at least five (5) of which must include administrative experience preferably in the similar institution.
• Fellowship of Nigerian Medical College of General Practitioners, preferable, or Postgraduate Degree in Public Health or a Diploma in Tropical Medicine, where applicable, will be an advantage.

Conditions of Service

• The conditions of service are the same as those obtainable in the Nigerian University System.
