We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, outstanding, inspirational and student focused Montessori Experienced teacher in a renowned school known for excellent quality state of the art facilities, professional teachers running a British and Nigerian Curriculum Located in FESTAC:

Job Title: Montessori Nursery Preschool Teacher

Location: Lagos

Duties and Responsibilities

• Working as a guide and facilitator, the Montessori teacher creates a well-prepared Montessori environment and an atmosphere of learning and inquisitiveness designed to move students from one activity and level to the next.
• Systematically observe their students and interpret their needs.
• Constantly experimenting, modifying the environment to meet perceptions of each child's needs and interests, and objectively noting the result.
• Prepare an environment meant to facilitate children's independence and ability to freely select work that they find appealing, selecting activities that will appeal to their interests and keeping the environment in perfect condition, adding to it and removing materials as needed.
• Must observe and evaluate each child's individual progress.
• Respect and protect their students' independence.
• They must know when to step in and set limits or lend a helping hand, and when it is in a child's best interests for them to step back and not interfere.
• They facilitate communication among the children and help the children to learn how to communicate their thoughts to adults.
• They interpret the children's progress and their work in the classroom to parents, the school staff, and the community.
• They present clear, interesting and relevant lessons to the children.
• They attempt to engage the child's interest and focus on the lessons and activities in the environment.

Qualifications
Interested candidate must possess the following:

• Minimum of a B.Ed Early Childhood Education or degree in Arts discipline
• Must have a proven certificate or record attesting to having received Montessori training from recognized institutions.
• Significant skills and knowledge of teaching teaching in a well recognized Montessori school record of achieving good results for a minimum of 3 years.
