Function

• To coordinate the production and reporting of consolidated annual budgets and quarterly forecasts.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage the Budget & Forecast Group by establishing, organizing and supervising the duties and responsibilities of team members to ensure that the group provides a valued service to both the finance department and other corporate “customers”.
• Present Consolidated Budget/Forecasts using appropriate media and oral communication in order to provide Senior Management with necessary data to assist them in running the business effectively.
• Coordinate input from regions and corporate department to produce reliable/ timely quarterly forecasts and annual budget.
• Review consolidated budget and quarterly forecasts for overall reasonableness and expected trends.
• Analyze and review submitted forecast and budget data for consistency with known trends and accounting policies.
• Perform mid-quarter reviews of actual results (derived from PeopleSoft General Ledger) versus forecast numbers. Adjust forecast expectations as necessary in order to maintain the integrity of projections.
• Train Budget & Forecast team members by sharing one’s experience and knowledge in order to provide better value to the company as a whole and to facilitate their career development.

Qualification and Experience

• A degree in Accounting/ Finance
• 5 experience in accounting or finance with a large multinational company and a minimum of two years in a supervisory role.

Special Requirement:

• Proficient in spreadsheet use, Industry knowledge, Strong analytical background, Good organization and time management, Sound financial reporting knowledge (P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow), oral presentations to senior management.
