We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Provisioning Engineer

Location: Lagos

Job Descriptions

Ensure optimal availability of the Provisioning and OSS systems.
Coordinate activities of service provisioning to network nodes.
Coordinate integration of all new network elements into Provisioning and OSS systems.
Ensure proper keeping of system logs and performing backups for the OSS applications
Recommend and oversee implementation of necessary changes in systems set-up in Provisioning and OSS systems.
Recommend and coordinate software update on the Mediation, Provisioning and OSS systems.
Manage preventive/routine maintenance on Provisioning and OSS systems
Investigating and identifying reasons for abnormal network conditions related to Provisioning and OSS systems.
Recommending and initiating corrective actions to faults on the Provisioning and OSS platforms
Monitoring the status and performance of the network elements interfacing with the Provisioning and OSS platforms.
Ensure the integrity of databases where standard data is kept.
Develop and maintain tools, applications and scripts to increase the effectiveness of the Provisioning and OSS platforms.

Job Condition

Normal MTNN working conditions.
National travel and a valid drivers license.

Experience & Training

Experience:

Four (4) to five (5) years hands-on experience in scripting and programming in telecommunications environment.

Training:

UNIX Shell script
PERL scripts

Minimum qualification
B.Sc

I am Looking for a Challenging career in a fast placed Telecommunications that will put my Experience and Talents to the test.
I am a very motivated Professional, with strong Interpersonal and Communication skills, and I thrive under Pressure. I have 08 years' experience in Telecom Field Operations and I feel that my dynamic personality and Knowledge would be a Great asset to any Telecom Company. As an Engineer of the Telecom field I was able to challenge all of the Examinations Necessary to attain my Diploma for the program, and this along with my Experience has allowed me to Apply to write the Bachelor in Software & Engineering examinations at the Apr 2004 sitting.
I hope to have completed all the steps necessary for licensure as a Registered Technician before the end of 2013. I am in Hyderabad Pakistan, but am willing to relocate anywhere in world, except Quebec, within 06 days of a firm offer.
