Ekiti State University Teaching Hospital, Ado Ekiti is recruiting to fill the following vacant positions:

1.)
Deputy Director - CONHESS 14
Qualifications: 
  • Candidate must possess good honours from recognized Universities in any of the Arts, Social Sciences with Master's degree in Business or Public Administration.
  • Must be a member of the Institute of Health Service Administrators of Nigeria.
  • Candidates must have had not less than 15 (fifteen) years cognate experience in a Teaching hospital.
  • Must have spent at least a year on the post of Deputy Director.
 
2.) Administrative Officer II: CONHESS 07
Qualifications: 
  • A degree in any of the disciplines of Social Sciences or Humanities.
  • 'O' Level certificate with 5 credits including English and Maths.
  • Must be computer literate with very sound knowledge of software package.
 
3.) Higher Executive Officer (GD) - CONHESS 07
Qualifications: 
  • A Higher National Diploma in Business Studies/ Administration or Public Administration from a recognized Institution.
  • 'O' Level certificate with 5 credits including English and Maths.
  • Must be computer literate with very sound knowledge of software package.
 
4.) Quantity Surveyor (Grd II) - CONHESS 07
Qualifications: 
  • A degree in Quantity surveying from a recognized university
  • A pass in final examination of the Royal Institute of Chatered Surveyors.
  • A pass in final examination of the Nigerian Institute of Quantity Surveyor.

5.) Architects (Grd II) - CONHESS 07
Qualifications:
  • A bachelor of Science, Degree in Architecture obtained from a university recognized by the Architect registration council

6.) Assistant Secretary /Confidential Secretary (Grd IV) - CONHESS 04
Qualifications:
  • Federal /State Training Centre Certificate in Typewriting and shorthand at the speed of 35 and 80 words per minute respectively plus English Language at R.S.A. Stage II or WASC/SSCE/GCE O/L.
  • Must be computer literate with very sound knowledge of software package.

7.) Principal Accountant - CONHESS 09
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of good B.Sc degree or HND in Accounting or finance from a recognized institution of higher learning with at least five or six year post cognate experience respectively.
  • Registration with a recognized professional accounting body.

8.) Biomedical Engineers - CONHESS 07
Qualifications:
  • A good Degree Certificate in Biomedical Engineer from a recognized University.

9.) Assistant Technical Officer (Biomedical) - CONHESS 05
Qualifications:
  • National Diplomacertitteate in Electrical Electronics from arecognized Institution.

10.) House Officers -CONMESS 01
Qualifications:
  • Degree in Medicine registered with Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN} from a recognized institution.

11.) Resident Doctor - COMMESS 06
Qualifications:
  • MBBS/MBchB degree
  • NYSC discharge certtficate/ Exception.
  • Primary Fellowship exams from either the National Postgraduate Medical College or theWest African Postgraduate Medical college.

12.) Medical Officer
Qualifications:
  • Same as above

13.) Nursing Officer II - CONHESS 07 Step1/07 Step3
Qualifications:
  • RN, RM or B.Sc degree.
  • Post basic degree in relevant fields.
  • Evidence of registration.
  • NYSC Certificate / Exception.
14.) Laboratory Scientist - CONHESS 08
Qualifications:
  • BMLS & NYSC discharge Certificate/Exception
  • Evidence of registration.

15.) Radiographers -CONHESS 08
Qualifications:
  • BSc / DIR/DCR degree.
  • NYSC Discharge certiftcate/Exception.

16.) Dental Technicians - CONHESS 06
Qualifications:
  • Dental Technician Certificate from a recognized school of Health Tech.
  • O/L Certificate with 5 credits including English & Maths.
  • Evidence of registration
17.) Pharmacist - CONHESS 09
Qualifications:
  • B .Pharm, Degree.
  • NYSC Discharge or Exemption Certificate.
18.) Pharmacist Technician - CONHESS 06
Qualifications:
  • Technician Certificate from any recognized School of Health Technology.
  • Evidence of registration with Council.
  • O/L Certificate with 5 credits including English & Maths.

19.) Laboratory Technician - CONHESS 06
Qualifications:
  • Laboratory Technician Certificate from any recognized School of Health Technology.
  • Evidence of registration with Council.
  • O/L Certificate with 5 credits including English & Maths.

20.) Medical Records Technicians - CONHESS 06
Qualifications:
  • Medical Records Technician Certificate from any recognized School of Health Technology.Evidence of registration with Council.
  • O/L Certificate with 5 credits including English & Maths.
21.) Community Health Extension Workers [Comm. HealthTechnicians] - CONHESS 06
Qualifications:
  • Technician (CHEW) Certificate from any recognized School of Health Technology.
  • Evidence of registration with Council.
  • O/L Certificate with 5 credits including English & Maths.

Application Closing Date
23 September, 2012

Method of Application
Interested applicants are to obtain application form of the institution from the Registry Unit with teller from bank after payment of the sum of N5500 (Five thousand five hundred naira) to Acct. No 1750001955 of SKYE BANK on the name of the institution.

Candidates are to submit (a) completed application form (b) detailed curriculum vitae (c)photocopies of all relevant credentials (d) letters from at least three referees.
Candidates should indicate the position applied for on the TOP LEFT HAND corner of envelops containing their applications.

Completed application forms are to either be forwarded by hand or post not later than the application closing date to: Chief Medical Director, Ekiti State University Teaching Hospital, Ado Ekiti.
