We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: GM, Programme Management (Construction) Expatriate's and Non Expatriate's

Location: Lagos

Core Job Functions / Responsibility

• The proposed role is General Manager.
• The candidate will be expected to manage the construction company and will be saddled with the responsibility of building roads, drainage, bridges and houses.

Primary Activities

• Provide oversight for Construction Services functions for and on behalf of Company.
• Supervise the preparation of work plans for all infrastructure and building projects.
• Develop annual strategic plans and budgets for Programme Management Division.
• Monitor divisional budget performance against actual expenditure.
• Ensure development of a detailed and high quality designs for all infrastructure and building projects.
• Develop and ensure engineering designs, standards and integrity.
• Ensure all infrastructure / building designs meet legal requirements.
• Work seamlessly with staff, contractors and consultants to deliver quality work within planned time, scope , budget and quality.
• Coordinate professionals such as structural engineers, builders, architects, surveyors and in-house project team to deliver projects.

Job Requirements and Skills

• Previous Work Experience: Relevant work experience in civil works, project management, and development of buildings, management information system and administrative function REQUIRED
• Experience: 20 to 25 years work experience with at least 10 years at managerial position experience is preferred.
• Certifications and Training Requirements: Professional Qualification and Certification in Project Management would be of ADVANTAGE.

• Ability to manage situations and motivate all the stakeholders at all times.
• Good Communication Skill to follow through both the up and down stream in the organization.
• Possesses active will to achieving set goals and promoting strong team spirit with the team members across the organization.
• Ability to work with time to achieve set goals.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing,
• Attention to Detail, Thoroughness and ability to deal with Complexity
• High numerate ability and analytical skills.
• Good knowledge Lotus Notes.
