Qualifications

• A candidate for this post should normally possess a good first degree and a Ph.D. degree in Accounting from a recognized University with not less than eight (8) years of teaching and research experience since becoming a Lecturer II in a University or comparable institution of higher learning.
• A strong proof of continuing research with appreciable evidence of scholarly publications in reputable journals published both locally and internationally is required in addition to evidence of ability to supervise post-graduate students including doctorate students in areas of expertise.
• Candidate must also have sufficient administrative experience and must have been a Senior Lecturer for a minimum of three (3) years. Membership of a recognised professional accounting body will be an added advantage.

Areas of Specialisation for Visual Arts:

• Management Accounting and Controls, Financial Accounting and Reporting, Taxation, Auditing and Investigation, Public Sector Accounting and Governance, Forensic Accounting

Salaries and Allowances
CONUASS 6 (N2,053,124.00 – N2,684,096.00) per annum
