Qualifications

• Candidate for this post should normally possess a good first degree in Surveying and Geoinformatics, Geomatics Engineering, Photogrammetry, Cartography and Remote Sensing plus Ph.D. in Surveying and Geoinformatics Engineering or Geomatics Engineering from recognized universities. In addition, candidate should have not less than five (5) years of teaching and research experience since becoming a Lecturer II in a University or comparable institution of higher learning.
• Candidate must possess evidence of scholarly publications in reputable journals and ability to supervise post-graduate students including doctorate students in areas of expertise.
• Candidate must have been a Lecturer I for a minimum of three (3) years and must be registered by SURCON as professional surveyor.

Area of Specification:

• Remote Sensing or GIS or Hydrography.

Salaries and Allowances
CONUASS 5 (N1,653,415.00 – N2,348,299.00) per annum
