Qualifications

• A candidate for this post should normally possess a good first degree and Ph.D. degree in either Pure or Applied Physics from a recognized University with not less than five (5) years of teaching and research experience since becoming a Lecturer II in a University or comparable institution of higher learning.
• Candidate must possess evidence of scholarly publications in reputable journals and ability to supervise post-graduate students including doctorate students in areas of expertise.
• Candidate must have been a Lecturer I for a minimum of three (3) years.

Areas of Specialisation:

• Atmospheric Sciences (i.e. Lower Atmosphere/Meteorology, Ionospheric and Radio Propagation), Solar Energy Physics, Instrumentation, Theoretical, Solid State Physics, Nuclear/Radiation Physics, Electronics, Solid Earth Physics.

Salaries and Allowances
CONUASS 5 (N1,653,415.00 – N2,348,299.00) per annum
