As part of its well structured growth and business expansion plans, our client is seeking to recruit suitably qualified and motivated professionals, to fill the Executive Management Position that have now arisen from the implementation of the plans:

Job Profile

• Will require a working knowledge of the Nigerian financial services ecosystem and capacity to lead a hard driving and multi cultural team
• Will possess the ability to network effectively, and interact at Management levels in the financial services industry
• Will develop a strategy for generating new businesses and manage existing clients’ relationships effectively and for maximum value
• Will provide inspiration, leadership and mentorship as well as the environment for continuous self development for the workforce, and aim to meet and exceed budgeted periodic business performance milestones always
• Will report to the Board of Directors and be required to manage complex strategic issues, including financial reporting and regulatory relationships with a view to engender long-term business profitability and sustained franchise viability

Person Specifications

• Bachelor or Master's Degree in Banking, Finance, Economics, Business Administration or other acceptable disciplines.
• Must demonstrate excellent knowledge of banking business and familiarity with the financial services value chain including basic banking operations, cash management, payment systems and enterprise risk management
• Must demonstrate familiarity with executive management essentials such as corporate governance, visioning, strategy formulation and execution, budgeting and planning
• Must not have been dismissed or disengaged from any financial institution or company on account of fraud, dishonesty or any other disciplinary issues
• Must have a minimum of 20 years progressive work experience in a financial services environment (including publicly owned and privately owned entities), including last 5 years in Executive Management or last 7 years in Senior Management positions
