As part of its well structured growth and business expansion plans, our client is seeking to recruit suitably qualified and motivated professionals, to fill the Middle Management Position that have now arisen from the implementation of the plans:

Job Title: Legal Advisor

Location: Nigeria

Job Profile

• Will advise management on legal procedures and laws, and apply the law to company’s business operations and circumstances
• Will be required to prevent the company from any adverse legal implications and consequences
• Will provide legal interface with vendors, suppliers, Nigeria Police Units and officers in all the locations of the company’s operations as well as arrange adequate and effective representation of the company in all courts or tribunals or other statutory fora where the company’s operations necessitate full legal representation
• Will provide legal guidance and advice to all units and officers of the company regarding day-to-day operations and official responsibilities
• Will interface with the external firm of Company Secretaries engaged to serve the company

Person Specifications

• LLB, BL or Master of Law and membership or acceptable professional bodies.
• Demonstrable competence in business law and Corporate Law practice, vendor management, advocacy and negotiation ,and excellent communication skill
• Minimum of 10 years progressive related experience, five of which must have been as a team leader
