Job Description

• The St. Bridget’s Primary School is seeking to a Director of Primary and Childhood Education who will be primarily responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating the academic, administrative, and auxiliary activities of the school.

Responsibilities
Duties will include but are not limited to the following:

• Observe teaching methods and examine learning materials to evaluate and standardize curricula and teaching techniques, and to determine areas where improvement is needed.
• Collaborate with teachers to develop and maintain curriculum standards, and set performance goals and objectives.
• Recruit, hire, train, and evaluate primary and supplemental staff. 
• Evaluate curricula, teaching methods, and programs to determine their effectiveness, efficiency, and utilization, and to ensure that school activities comply with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Counsel and provide guidance to students regarding personal, academic, vocational, or behavioral issues.
• Prepare, maintain, or oversee the preparation and maintenance of attendance, activity, planning, or personnel reports and records.
• Coordinate and direct programs, extracurricular activities, and after-school events.
• Report to the Council of Regents Perform other duties as assigned 

Qualifications

• Minimum Master's degree in Educational Administration or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of demonstrated success as a primary school administrator.
