Associate Professor / Reader / Professor (Electrical and Computer Engineering) at Kwara State University

Kwara State University is a research intensive university offering undergraduate and postgraduate academic programmes. It is situated in a serene rural area of Malete, a university community with high infrastructural facilities to enhance teaching, learning and community outreach.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Associate Professor / Reader / Professor

Location: Kwara
College: Engineering and Technology
Area of Specialization: Electrical and Computer Engineering

Qualifications

• Candidates must possess a Ph.D degree in the relevant field with a minimum of eight (8) years post doctoral cognate teaching, research and administrative experience plus at least twenty (20) significant scholarly publication in reputable national and international outlets.
• Must show an evidence of significant research direction or supervision at the Postgraduate, especially Doctoral level.

Remuneration and Conditions of Service

• As a new College in a newly established University, retired senior scholars who had attained the above-listed status in their previous Universities would be considered for one or two years renewable contract positions. Successful candidates would be expected to provide leadership in departments.
• The University pays a twelve-month salary commensurate with the remunerations offered by the Nigerian University System to its academic staff and provides an annual summer holiday of close to three months.
• Accommodation and local transportation allowances are also provided. Successful candidates have an opportunity to live in the University Quarters on the campus.
