Federal College of Education in Affiliated with the University of Ibadan Hereby Announces Admission Into Full-Time (Regular) Degree Programmes For 2012/2013 Academic Session

This is to invite candidates who sat for 2012/2013 UTME and have scored 180 and above to apply for full-time degree programmes at the Federal College of Education,Abeokuta, under the supervision of University of Ibadan, in the following ten programmes:

• Education/Christian Religion Studies
• Education/Islamic Religion Studies
• Education/English
• Education/French
• Education/Biology
• Education/Chemistry
• Education/Physics
• Education/Mathematics
• Human Kinetics and Health Education; and
• Home Economics

Admission Requirement

Four (4) Year Degree Programme

• The four year degree programme is available to candidates who possess at least five passes at credit level In School Certificate/General Certificate in Education GCE Ordinary Level including English Language and Mathematics in one sitting or at least six credit passes in not more than 2 sittings.
• In addition, candidates are required to have credit passes in specific relevant subject (s).

Three (3) Year Degree Programm

• The three year degree programme is available to candidates who possess the Nigeria Certificate in Education NCE with at least 7 cumulative points in specific relevant subject(s) provided they also possess minimum qualification requirement of the University of Ibadan as contained in the 2012/2013 JAMB Brochure.

Date and Time of Screening

• The Post UTME screening exercise shall take place at the Maina Hall, Federal College of Education, Osiele,Abeokuta on Tuesday 20th November, 2012 at 9,00am prompt.

Method of Application

• Candidates for the four year degree programme are to pay Five Thousand Naira (N5000.00) only into CEDEP Account Number 0022326435 at any branch of Diamond Bank PLC in Nigeria.
• Applicants should write their JAMB registration followed by full name (SURNAME first,as it appears on the UTME result slip e.g. 85155888FE IBRAHIM, ADEBAYO CHUKWUDI) in the space provided for "depositor" on the bank teller.
• Consequent upon payment of the processing fee, candidates are expected to proceed for on-line registration at www.fceabkcedep.org and fill the template.
• Candidates for the (Direct) 3 year degree programme are to pay the sum of Ten Thousand Naira (N10, 000.00) only into CEDEP Account Number 0022326435 at any branch of Diamond Bank PLC in Nigeria and proceed for on-line registration at www.fceabkcedep.org  .
• All candidates should ensure that the on-line forms are carefully filled in CAPITAL LETTERS, following ALL necessary instructions as "mistakes" and/or multiple submission may lead to disqualification. Care must be taken NOT to click FINAL SUBMISSION until the necessary preview/editing had been done.
• All candidates are expected to upload their passport photographs and signatures. The image format for the passport and signature is JPEG and must not exceed 20kb .
• The photograph must be on plain background.
