University of Ibadan invites interested qualified candidates for admission into, the Bachelor in Education (B.Ed) Degree Programme for the 2012/2013 Academic session.

The duration of the programme is four years for candidates through JAMB, UTME and three(3) years for candidates through Direct Entry. UTME candidates who had applied to the University of badan nd scored and above can apply and need not sit for another post JAMB screening examination

Admission Requirements

Candidates for the four years full time programme must have scored the JAMB prescribed cutoff mark of 180 in the 2012 UTME, The UTME subjects must be relevant to the choice of course of study.
Candidates must be holders of WAEC, SSCE, GCE, NECO or equivalent with CREDIT passes in FIVE subjects including Mathematics, English language and the teaching subjects.
Candidates for Direct Entry must be holders of Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE) in. addition to 2.1 above and must have completed the 2012/2013 Direct Entry application forms. The NCE subjects should be relevant to the choice of course of study and caAdidates must have made at least nine grade points on the subjects.
Direct Entry candidates need not come for the post UTME screening examination

Method of Application

lnterested applicants must pay application fees of N5000 and fill their forms on line as follows:

Visit the College Webportal or through the College website
Click application and then select your category e.g. Direct Entry or UTME
Fill form and make online payment of application form fees with ATM carth,(Master or Verve)
Download and print, the payment receipt, application form and screening acknowledgment slip
Submit copies of the prints along with your credentials to the Directorate of Undergraduate Studies, Federal College of Education, Okene on the day of examination.
Come along with your acknowledgment slip and writing materials (biro, pencil, eraser etc) for the screening examination which is scheduled for November 20, 2012, at the Federal College of Education, Okene, Kogi State.
