Job Description
  • The National Sales Manager will be responsible for increasing sales, market share and awareness of the company’s products within the country.
  • He will also develop and build business relations with existing customers as well as developing new contacts with distributors in order to ensure the company has the maximum coverage and the required service levels
Responsibilities
  • The responsibilities for this office shall include but is not limited to the following:
  • Develop and drive strong sales and segment growth strategies
  • Manage Nigeria market according to expectations, leveraging the resources and the competences of the region in the industrial market
  • Manage and develop high quality relationships with distributors, OEMs and end users
  • Motivate and drive performance of all employees and units to sell and grow profitable business
  • Achieve agreed growth, cost, cash and KPI's
  • Drive the expansion of the value proposition and sales through company's platforms
  • Develop, manage and grow the distribution network through the company’s program
  • Deploy price leadership strategy and value based selling
  • Structure and develop the Nigeria market to meet new strategies and business needs
  • Build a strong Nigerian team and develop talent to meet the company’s future needs
  • Foster a good working climate and strong team work
Qualifications and Experience
  • B.Sc / HND in a management related course
  • At least 10 years Experience and proven track record in sales and business management, preferably with technical background
  • Experience of contract management
  • Have excellent communication & negotiation skills at all levels and demonstrate a high level of initiative
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Great business understanding
  • Honest and hardworking
  • High proficiency in MS Office applications
  • Team oriented and outgoing(must be willing to travel within Nigeria
  • Fluency in English while working knowledge in French is a plus
