Entry Requirements
1.) National Diploma (ND) 3 Years
Candidates must possess Five (5) credit passes in GCE O’Level, WASC, NECO or NABTEB at a sitting or six (6) credit passes at two (2) sittings which must include Mathematics and English Language.

2.) Higher National Diploma (ND) 3 Years

• Candidates for any of the Higher National Diploma (HND) programmes must possess the National Diploma (ND) of the Polytechnic with a minimum of Lower Credit or an equivalent qualification from other similar Institutions whose courses have earned NBTE Accreditation.
• Candidates must possess Five (5) credit passes in GCE O’Level, WASC, NECO or NABTEB at a sitting or six (6) credit passes at two (2) sittings which must include Mathematics and English Language.
• One (1) year Industrial Training (I.T) but two (2) years I.T. for candidates with Pass in National Diploma.

Method of Application
A non-refundable application fee of Twelve thousand, one hundred and fifty Naira (N 12,150.00) made payable to any of the Banks listed below in Auchi. The Banks will in turn issue a scratch card to each applicant.

Return of Completed Application Forms
All applicants are required to complete forms online following the instructions contained in the leaflet accompanying the Application Request Access Card. All completed application forms must be submitted online. Thereafter, follow the links on the portal to print:

• A copy of the Acknowledgement Slip.This will be presented at the Screening venue before an applicant is screened.
• Two copies of the application form.

The forms, accompanied with Photocopies of credentials and two (2) recent passport- sized photographs should be enclosed in the institution's customized envelope already purchased at the point of collection and returned to the Bank where the online Application Request Access Card was purchased, NOT later than TWO MONTHS from the date of advertisement.

Procedure for Using Auchi Polytechnic Online Application Admissions Platform
Read and follow the steps below carefully.

1. Gently scratch the covered portion of the Admission Request Access Card to uncover the hidden Access Number (Pin Code). This is a 12- digit number under the foil.
2. Open your web browser and type in Auchi Polytechnic URL: www.auchipoly.edu.ng to display the Auchi Polytechnic web page.
3. Click on students Portal (Evening)
4. Click on Online applications (2012/2013)
5. Complete the admission request form displayed. Enter your Access Card Pin Number as requested and Click on submit request.
6. Complete the Application Form that is displayed carefully. Ensure that you provide all required information correctly as false information may disqualify your application.
7. Fill in the subject and grades you obtained in the specified examination you have taken.
8. Fill in your Sponsorship and Referees details as required and save the form.
9. If you are sure that all information provided are correct, you can finally click Submit to finish the application process.
10. You will be prompted to upload your passport. Make sure your passport is not larger than 2x2 inches in size.
11. If you are sure all information provided are correct, click Submit Application Form.
12. Print a copy of the Acknowledgement slip and two copies of the application form.
13. Attach photocopies of your credentials and birth certificate to the forms and enclose them in the envelope already purchased. Then submit the envelope at the Bank where you purchased the Application Access Card.

If you have any difficulty in completing the application form, please visit office of the Director, Management Information System (MIS), Auchi Polytechnic, Auchi (between 9.00 a.m. and 400 p.m. week days).
Besides, applicants are advised to enclose photocopy of receipt of purchase of scratch card alongside their completed application forms.
