News: See the Nigerian Police Force Salary Structure

Posted on Tue 05th Apr, 2016 - hotnigerianjobs.com --- (27 comments)

Police officers are well-paid in Nigeria and this is an aberration to the public orientation that most of the officers are poorly remunerated.

Police service commission is currently recruiting 10,000 personnel across the country.

Check out the unconfirmed Nigerian police force salary structure for those that have applied and would-be officers of the security outfit after recruitment process:

Onoja, this is not commendable at all. What is commendable about such poor salary structure? This is why the Nigerian Police would do anything to collect 'egonje'. These salary structure is very poor and begging for review.

With such salary structure, a Nigerian Police can never be your friend ooo

Monday oo...You have killed me 😂😂😂😂😂@u n Nigeria need deliverance. But why do people write mini application letters here instead of applying to the necessary quarter?

To the matter at hand, i'd say not bad only if i'm looking at the salary scheme of officers but for the rank and file? In this economy? Terrible!

You Nigerians can never be satisfied. Its a pity that people lack the knowledge of Economics. You may need to show the salaries of the civil servants and Teachers on the same grade before people will open their mouths wide and talk rubbish. Nigerian Government has really tried. Go to Cambodia, Thailand, all African countries and compare what the top officials are earning as salaries before a straight jacket comment.
God bless Nigeria.

God bless you Musa. This salary scale is the same with all other uniform officers in Nigeria. It is fanatastic when compared to what civil servants earn and they all work for government. A level 12 officer in a federal ministry takes home about 80k every month without any extra pecks in the twelve months of the year. So you need not blame the 48 years old man that wants to join the NPF. And we all go to the same market. In fact police officers are more privileged in a lot of things as compared to civil servants. No amont of increment in their salaries will change that their evil quest for money. But I must say that if I am to assess their pay scale based on overall pay in the government sector as at today, it is fair enough.

The salaries of the nigeria civil servants and the security agencies are poor!. The government should as a matter of fact adjust the salary structure and improve the standard of living of the citizenry..

The nigeria police force salary scheme should be reviewed.. It is obvious they have the poorest salary scheme compared to that of the nigerian army and para-military agencies and likewise other government agencies.. The incumbent administration should focus more on improving the standard of living of a common man too.
