In partnership with one of the leading global insurers, we aspire to establish a foremost insurance underwriting firm in Nigeria, having recently obtained a licence to establish a life insurance business, we have ambitions to build  the partnership to include non-life insurance in the medium term. As part of plans to commence full operations, we seek to recruit focused , energetic, results-oriented and suitably qualified professionals to fill the following positions in the country:

INVESTMENT SPECIALIST(Ref: FILIS)

Reporting to the Finance Manager, the successful candidate will provide investment advice and management services to  the company in accordance with the investment objectives. Specifically, the candidate will:

•     Develop and implement a process for evaluating opportunities in terms of financial gain, mission/strategy fit and organizational capacity.
•    Create key performance metrics for execution of business plan and strategy development for existing products and businesses, including market analysis, revenue planning, activity forecasting, and development of projected financial statements.
•  Provide support in designing the institutional frame work for fund management
•  Formulate and recommend an investment portfolio for the company
•  Develop internal reporting procedures on Fund Placement in accordance with NAICOM rules and regulations
•  Develop process to create investment return and risk management benchmarks for the investment fund.

QUALIFICATIONS,EXPERIENCE AND ATTRIBUTES
A good bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics,Mathematics or related disciplines
professional qualification(s) i.e. ACCA,ACA, ACII, will be an added advantage
At least seven(5) years of professional working in a reputable insurance company
Must be computer literate and must be able to work in a team-based multi-cultural environment
Proven experience of motivating and managing a team to achieve desired results
