KC Gaming Networks Limited - Bet9ja, hold the Lagos State Lotteries Board license, the Sportsbook and Gaming license issues by the State of Osun, and hold licenses to operate in all States where sports betting is permitted in Nigeria.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Procurement Officer

Location: Lagos

Job Description

• To assist in the development and maintains of an operational electronic procurement system for the business
• Organize and maintain database records containing vendor and supplier details
• Develop timelines for the delivery of particular items so that projects or assignments can proceed as required and avoidance of delays
• Place orders for all company-wide supplies or materials
• Set ordering thresholds for commonly-used business items/supplies
• Perform random quality checks on supplies in order to see that the suppliers are not delivering substandard goods to bet9ja
• Implementing storage procedures to be adopted by the Administration department specifically for all inventory items
• Compare prices and quotes amongst vendors/ suppliers in order to make sound purchasing decisions
• Ensuring the procurement activities are within a reasonable business purchasing budget
• Ordering goods such as office supplies on a continuing basis in order to maintain certain inventory levels for example stationary, printing paper, items required for the retails outlets
• Check invoices for accuracy and ensure they are forwarded to the Internal auditor for payment approval
• Enter data concerning inventory and order amounts into a database
• Evaluate the services and performance of the suppliers/ vendors/ contractor in order to decide whether or not to continue buying or making purchase from them
• To ensure that goods purchased are to specification in terms of quality, quantity and delivery and to query suppliers who fail to meet specifications.
• To Travel occasionally across the business in terms of ensuring the procurement process is aligned

Job Profile

• Minimum entry is a relevant Degree HND or B.Sc.in Business Administration, Procurement or Economics would be essential
• Work experience of 3-5 years or more in a similar role is essential
• Previous office-based commercial work experience is essential
• Minimum of 3 years working experience of procurement and purchasing in an established organisation.
• Ability to priorities own workload and multitask
• Ability to use own initiative and make informed decisions
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Good IT skills specifically ( word, excel, powerpoint)
• Good written and communication skills
• Good analytical and numerical skills
• Experience of preparing and collating relevant procurement monthly reports
• Adaptable and flexible.
