Ajayi Crowther University, Oyo was founded by the Church of Nigeria (Anglican Communion) and licenced by the Federal Republic of Nigeria in January 2005 to operate as a private university. It is located on Oyo-Ogbomoso Road on the site of old St. Andrew’s College, Oyo. Its vision is "to be a top-class institution in the pursuit of knowledge and scholarship through teaching, learning, research and exemplary service to humanity" and its mission "to produce graduates who are imbued with the fear of God and sense of service to humanity and ihö are endowed with a well rounded education to enable them operate successfully both as private entrepreneurs and topflight workers in the private and public sectors of the nation’s economy".

Qualifications

• A good honours degree and a PhD degree in the relevant field and at least 12 years of teaching and (or) research experience in a University.
• Evidence of substantial scholarly publications In reputable outlets and ability to Initiate and develop courses at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels as well as Initiate and supervise research programmes and adequate administrative exposure are required.
• Successful applicants must be able to give academic and professional leadership In the field.
