Notice of False Recruitment Campaign & Improper Use of the Nigerian Agip Oil Company Limited (NAOC) name
- The attention of the Management of Nigerian Agip Oil Company Limited (NAOC) has been drawn to the activities of fraudsters offering employment to unsuspecting members of the public purportedly on behalf of NAOC.
- The unauthorized persons and organizations are claiming that they work for, or are affiliated to NAOC; and are purportedly seeking to recruit various categories of staff, including security/police/detective officers, on NAOC's behalf.
- The Management of NAOC wishes to dissociate itself and all its affiliate companies (including Nigerian Agip Exploration Limited and Agip Energy and Natural Resources (Nigeria) Limited) from the activities of these fraudsters.
- Members of the public are requested to please note that notices issued by the fraudsters, in the form of letters, emails, social media messages or publications in whatever form, neither originated from NAOC nor associated in any way with the recruitment process of NAOC.
- We also wish to notify the general public that NAOC and its affiliate companies do not request or demand any monetary or other forms of payment from prospective applicants as part of their recruitment process.
- The general public is, therefore, hereby advised to beware of the activities of these fraudsters in their own interest. Any person who deals with the fraudsters does so at his/her own risk!
