Position Description
- Review Purchase Requisitions (PR) for direct charge material/services and seek clarification from Manager, Purchasing / Customer if required
- Prepare and process requisitions and purchase orders for supplies and equipment.
- Prepare and submit Tender Board proposal and request bid list approval
- Prepare proposal to award
- Track the progress of purchase orders and expedite as necessary
- Maintain records of goods ordered and received
- Participate in the development of specifications for equipment, products or substitute materials
- Analyse market and delivery systems to assess present and future material availability
- Attend to on-order requests and issues from vendors and requisitioners
- Verify Invoice Coding Slip details for approval
- Other duties as may be assigned by the Manager
Position Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree (minimum of second class lower division) or its equivalent in Science, Engineering or any relevant social science discipline.
- Minimum of 10 years in materials/logistics, procurement, contracts and supply chainin the oil & gas industry and membership of relevant professional body is desirable.
