@Godwin and co: You sound rather UN-INTELLIGENT, The FG is doing something good by offering scholarship opportunities to its citizens and all you can say is "When will FG stop all these kind of shameful Acts". Exactly how is this shameful? You are just a classic example of what is wrong with Nigerians today. Complaints!Complaints!Complaints!

And which employers are you referring to rejecting degrees from these Countries? Such lies and brazen talk! Some of these countries have overally higher Education standards than Nigeria. e,g Japan, China and Cuba. You even speak of the temperatures...OMG..What do you want the FG to do again? Buy winter clothes and blankets???!!

Personal contributions like yours are not needed! Join the Idiots' blog!

P.S: Google is your friend, Check out facts so you don't sound Ignorant and uneducated! Understand what the Bilateral Education Agreement means before you comment.

Much ado about nothing, lets use d principle of mitigation on any concept Our leaders ve decided.Dont faint or get incapacitated but lets see if this one can remunerate.Something we consider indignatious might turn out favourable.we all know that most of have been frauded in name of jobs n opporunities but dont get sarcastic, dont put ur faith in a receptacle,,put it to work fellow citizens.Cast away d spirit n mindset of redundancy n lets all try cos no one knows. But one thing is sure God has orchestrated our destiny.Dont give up,stir up,cheer up,chin up n get focused.Thank God u dont ve to pay n obtian d form, may be they forgot

Am happy for the development but what makes me sad is the criteria been set does of us with second class lower, what then is our faith even does that are orphans and no sponsorship from any family members. What i would like to suggest if they will hear and take is, they should make it second class lower. Benjamin

@ Anjola and Godwin, i currently study in Samara, Russia under this scholarship. I have to tell you that Anjola is right and Godwin, you are wrong. The education standard here is very high. Few students in classrooms. I can't say for all courses, but aeronautics in Russia is of a very high standard. Many of the african graduates now work in Canada and Germany.I can give you names. Russian is difficult but after learning it for a year, you'll feel on top of the world. Extra money is provided by the government for winter clothes and i can tell you if one dresses properly, he will love winter with all the skating and fun. Finally, the only problem we face is that of late payments of our allowances but one has got to be wise with his savings. I tell you this is a wonderful opportunity one shouldn't miss.

All your comments are good but we should try to see life with a positive mind set. As long as you can see you can have it. This is a welcome development and its been in existence from 80s and many have benefited from it. SO if you are interested rise up and take responsibility. Kudos to our governments!
Wishing all applicants a good Luck!

2012, i spent so much money to gather the requirements for the BEA scholarship plus the traveling expenses even though i was advised against it that these were all awarded to government official's kids. but after the whole testing, i have not gotten any mail from BEA maybe to inform me whether i was successful or not. 2011, my cousin wrote BEA and when they went to the Government house to ask for the result as stipulated, they were informed that the Governor did not give anybody transport fare to use and go to Abuja to collect the result. That's the lamest story i have heard from the Government. And u all want to tell me that the Government is working.
