Capax 360 - Our client, a reputable law firm in Lagos State, is currently seeking applications to fill the vacant positions below:

Job Title: Practice Manager

Location: Lagos

Job Summary

The ideal candidate will be responsible for the law firm’s day to day running, human resources and administration.

Job Descriptions

Provide effective leadership and oversight to support functions across the firm, including IT, HR, Knowledge Management, Facility management, Finance, Office Administration, Business Development, etc.
Support the firm’s leadership in practice development, including strategic planning and implementation, business development, financial, client and people management activities
Oversee the activities of the accounts function and work closely with the practice accountant to ensure appropriate tracking and collection of receivables
Drive business development and marketing activities for the firm, including tracking, monitoring and evaluation of these activities
Ensure effective utilization of information technology across the firm’s processes, including optimization of the firm’s investments in IT (hardware and software) across the firm
Monitor and stay abreast of industry, national and global developments, trends and events to ensure that the firm is able to maintain and sharpen its competitive positioning and advantage
Prepare and submit periodic management reports on practice management activities for management decision making

Qualification and Competency Requirements

Minimum 5 years of demonstrable general office management experience within a law firm or professional services environment
Bachelor's degree in business, information systems or related discipline, or equivalent; M.B.A. preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to problem solve
Effective stakeholder management skills
Excellent organisational and time management skills
Enthusiastic approach and an ability to work in a team environment
Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite
