Job Title: Head, Credit and Risk Controller (HC&RC)

Job Objectives
To manage the entire credit risk management process -Identify, measure, monitor - and ensure lending activities are within pre-determined risk profile and statutory/regulatory requirements.

Requirements / Experience
- A first degree preferably In a numerate field. Possession of a non-numerate first degree but with proven numeric ability may also suffice
- At least 10 yrs experience in managing credit risk across a range of on & off-balance sheet assets with a strong track record at a senior level within a bank, asset management or Investment Institution
- Prior experience In both operations and a marketing/sales function (preferably
corporate/commercial banking) would also provide a strong advantage
- Expert in Financial Analysis, credit skills, financial and statistical modeling skills
- Advanced Paralegal skills; advanced knowledge of models of measuring Value at Risk (VaR) Including concepts of default probability, loss given default and rating migration
- Advanced knowledge of computation and allocation of economic capital and risk adjusted performance measurements; advanced understanding of Base II framework
- Advanced knowledge of development of internal credit rating models
