ActionAid Nigeria (AAA) is one of ActionAid Country Programmes around the world. ActionAid is an International Non-Governmental anti-poverty organization. To effectively remain proactive and consolidate on the new country strategy, AAN is inviting applications from qualified candidates to fill the position of Capacity Building Technical Advisor. (I position each for Nasarawa, Ogun and Akwa Ibom)
Person Specifications
Education/Qualifications� Degree in Social Sciences, Arts or Humanities is essential.
� Post graduate degree in a relevant field is essential.
Experience� A minimum of 7 years working experience preferably in the social development field is essential
� A minimum of 3 years experience in a similar position is essential
� Experience in working with HIV/AIDS �related Civil Society Organisation in the area of capacity building and prevention is essential
� Experience of the Nigerian policy environment as it relates with Gender & HIV/AIDS is desirable
Skill/Abilities� Excellent computer application skills is essential
� Excellent Skills in capacity building is essential
� Excellent oral and written communication skills is essential
� Excellent conceptual, analytical, documentation and presentation skills is essential
Personal Qualities� Creative and takes initiative.
� Able to work effectively in a diverse team environment
� Willing and able to travel
