The social media specialist will act as our Brand’s voice to impress our customers, attract new clients and ensure we maintain a top-of-mind audience presence consistent with our online social media marketing goals.
Job Description
Build and execute social media strategy through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging and audience identification
Updating our social media pages, responding to followers and tracking user engagement.
Achieve superior customer engagement and intimacy, website traffic and revenue by strategically exploiting all aspects of the social media marketing roadmap.
Promote our services on social networks and generally increase awareness and acceptability of our refreshed brand.
Moderate all user-generated content in line with the moderation policy for each social media platforms.
Provide creative ideas for content marketing (engaging written and graphic contents) and monitor the effectiveness of the blog and social media platforms
Generate, edit, publish and share daily content (original text, images, video or HTML) that builds meaningful connections and encourages customer engagement.
Continuously improve by capturing and analyzing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights and best practices, and then acting on the information
Set up and optimize company social media pages, online stores and blogs within each platform to increase the visibility of company.
Review and promote the company's products and services on social media (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn) and online stores
Collaborate with other departments (customer relations, sales etc) to manage reputation, identify key players and coordinate actions
Required Qualification
Degree or Diploma in any social sciences/ Art/ Humanities
Professional training and certifications is an added advantage
The ideal candidate should possess:
Proven working experience in social media marketing, content writing or as a digital media specialist
Exceptional writing and editing skills, including the ability to write for a variety of audiences and communications mediums
have a solid understanding of how each social media channel works and how to optimize content so that it is engaging on those channels.
Create and distribute in the form of e-newsletters, web page and blog content though various media channels
Analytical skills, not only for presenting data but to also summarize findings and propose recommendations for future improvements
Demonstrable social networking experience and social analytics tools knowledge
Knowledge of online marketing and good understanding of major marketing channels
Positive attitude, detail and customer oriented with good multitasking and organisational ability
