Job Title: Project Manager / Scrum Master

Location: Nigeria

Job Description

Looking for a Scrum Master with strong technical skills and a thorough understanding of the agile development process.
We are building best in class Digital applications and API’s. As a Scrum Master you are expected to be a team facilitator and be responsible for bringing the team together to deliver.
You should have an understanding or experience in React, Node.JS and other Javascript frameworks. You have a passion for creating the best user experience possible.

Responsibilities

Drive the Technical team and the Product Owners in an Agile development process
Enact Scrum values and practices
Run interferences both within as well as across functional teams
Enable close cooperation across all roles and functions
Apply a strong understanding of the overall software delivery lifecycle and activities
Promote and participate in the continuous improvement of structure, processes, and tooling to enable the teams to deliver more value
Organize and facilitate standups, release and sprint planning, reviews, demos and retrospectives
Support efforts to code, design, and test in a heterogeneous technology environment e.g. JavaScript MVC, HTML, CSS, Java/ J2EE
Identify opportunities for process and tool improvements and drive those from concept to implementation
Engineer a world-class platform with an eye towards rapid iteration and creative problem solving
Ensure quality and completeness of the product through unit, integration, and regression capabilities
Adhere to architecture standards, risk management and security policies
Contribute and collaborate in creation and consumption of open, standards-based solutions, while working with existing JPMorgan technologies and infrastructure

Qualifications

Demonstrated and extensive experience delivering technology solutions
Excellent understanding of development concepts
Strong customer focus, excellent problem solving and analytical skills
Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment
Understanding of object orientation and software design patterns
Experience testing at the unit, integration and system levels
Knowledge of at least one web application server such as Tomcat, .NET or similar
Experienced leading teams of software engineers
BS or MS in Computer Science or a related field
Proven experience as a practicing Scrum Master
Experience with other Agile/Lean practices such as XP or Kanban
Participation in Test Driven Development or Business Driven Development, Continuous Integration or Continuous Delivery
