They are mad people. Giving scholarship to 25 yrs below, what happen to those of us who are above that? Are we not nigerians? Dont you ever use ur brain at all? Age and certificates have nothing to do with a man's ability. Nigeria will never progress until you people stop your stupid discrimination.

All I have to say about this is that only God's help is our hope as youths in this country. The help of God defies qualifications.

If at all the management of Agip will ever read this, i will implore her to create room for PhD scholarship as well.
In addition, there shouldn't be age and career restrictions at the level of PhD. One may asked "why"?. The answer is not far-fetched. As much as we(Economists) are of the opinion that every individuals, firms and governments are selfish, we also understand that one of the goals of firms, which could be termed as "secondary" is social responsibility to host countries. Thus, such lofty gesture by Agip could help to train manpower that will assist in promoting teaching, research and community service in Nigerian Universities in specific and the world in totality and not necessary to assist Agip in the maximization of profit. Nonetheless, such gesture could as well enable Agip to maximize fund indirectly through the human resources that will benefit from the knowledge of the academics.
Finally, in doing this, emphasis should also be placed on a minimum of 2.1 at BSc. This is not because I am selfish as stipulated by economic theory. It is rather embedded in the fact that where merit is uphold for a lectureship position, emphasis is still placed at a minimum of 2.1 at BSc even when one holds MSc with PhD grade.
Thanks.

people graduate before the age of 25.i did all my schooling in nigeria, 5yr course in unilag and graduated at 21, its posssible. its a way of weeding out people just as the requirment for job is 2nd class upper or above. if its open to everybody, applications will be too much.
