TechAdvance has subsidiaries across the IGR, Utilities, Finance and Transport Space in Nigeria.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Payment Systems Product Manager

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Reporting Line: Chief Innovation Officer

Job Purpose

• The incumbent is responsible for the product roadmap, development, implementation, opportunity identification, business case development, industry research, and new product introduction across the product set.
• He/She will be responsible for driving revenue, thought leadership, market support, and client experience.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with our strategic partners, senior business leaders, and tech team to define the vision, strategy, and multi-quarter roadmap for the market launch of a modern Payments software
• Champion the API product vision with internal stakeholders and cross-functional groups to secure buy-in for execution to the roadmap
• Define and document the end-to-end product needs for the Payments API with the goal of building a simple, easy, and best-in-the-class integration experience for our clients.
• Work closely with the engineering team to advocate the customer needs and context to ensure a high-quality Payments API
• Conduct customer usability studies, experiments and understand the market trends and competitive landscape
• Accelerate execution of the strategy by leading cross-group alignment and prioritization
• Build and sustain relationships with key stakeholders, drive product development with cross-functional teams, and deliver the Payments API quickly
• Plan and conduct experiments to validate solution ideas; challenge the status quo
• Evaluate competitive landscape, identify compelling solutions, analyze technologies, and assess the importance of emerging tools and platforms

The Ideal Person
The ideal candidate must have;

• Proven ability to develop and champion a product vision, strategy, and roadmap for a product
• Technically knowledge of Payments, Fintech, APIs & Application Integrations
• Leverage business insights and analytics to ensure cross-functional alignment and help teams drive strategic partnerships and new investments forward

Experience:

• Extensive experience with product management, agile development, product launches, scaling, especially within the Fintech space and 5 or more years’ experience designing and delivering world-class products in a Product Management.
