Reports To: Design Thinking Program Lead-Nigeria
Role Purpose
Working under the overall supervision of the Hub Director Nigeria and the direct supervision of the Design thinking Program Lead-Nigeria, the successful candidate will contribute to raising transformational leaders for sustainable communities across Africa.
Core Responsibilities
Support with project implementation; by planning, organizing and coordination of meetings and field activities;
Assist in developing concept note, proposals and activity report and routinely conduct effective key word searches for research purposes.
Maintenance of organization electronic documentation and filing procedures; using Google doc
Issue press releases in commemoration of core international days, activities and events
Coordinates the proofreading and editing of documents as required;
Organizes regular team meetings and conference calls/video-conferences, often over different time zones, including the preparation and distribution of documents and providing the necessary technical devices;
Takes minutes of regular team meetings and other meetings with the assistance of and coordination with the Design thinking Program Lead as required;
Conduct himself/herself both professionally and personally in such a manner as to bring credit to Youth Training Hub Africa and to not jeopardize its mission.
Responsible for Monitoring and evaluation of the organization's activities, projects and programs while compiling and reporting to the Nigeria Programme Lead monthly, quarterly and annually.
Relevant Skills, Competencies and Experience
Degree in Development Studies, Social Work and other related Social Science; or an equivalent combination of education, training & experience.
A minimum of one-year experience in a similar role
An understanding of the development sector in Nigeria
Excellent computer skills, including with Microsoft word, and expertise in PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook.
Experience on working and functioning in a virtual work space;
Ability to perform several activities simultaneously, while maintaining a controlled presence.
Strong written and verbal communication and listening skills are a must have
Strong team player.

Work Schedule/Remuneration
S/he would be expected to work mostly virtually three times a week in the absence of core activities with filled in reports, time-sheets on deliverables; data reimbursement of N25,000 monthly would be paid.
