Registrar at the National Institute of Construction Technology and Management

The National Institute of Construction Technology and Management, Uromi, Edo State is a Federal Polytechnic with the functions of providing technology, training and development of techniques in Applied Science, Engineering, Environmental Studies, Business Studies, as well as other spheres of learning.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Registrar

Location: Uromi, Edo

Duties

• The Registrar is responsible to the Rector for the day-to-day administration of the Institute. He takes charge of the Registry and is the secretary to the Governing Council and Academic Board.
• He is the custodian of all records of the Institute, keeps the Institute’s seal and interprets and applies rules and regulations to the Institute.

Qualification and Experience

• Candidates for the post of Institute Registrar are required to have a good Bachelor's Degree (a minimum of Second Class Lower Division) preferably in the Arts, Social Sciences or Humanities, plus at least 18 years post qualification cognate experience or a Master's Degree in the relevant discipline with at least 15 years post qualification cognate experience.
• Membership of a recognized relevant and professional body is mandatory
• The candidate must show evidence of community service.

Terms of Appointment

• The appointment is for a term of five (5) years only.
• The salary attached to the position is consolidated with other benefits as comparable to that in other similar Institutions of higher learning in the country.
