1.) Chief Technologists (Microbiology)

Qualifications and Requirements

• Candidates are required to possess appropriate skills and orientations for respective discipline as well as possess teaching abilities with adequate research experience.

2.) Assistant Technologist

Requirements

• Part I Technician of the City and Guides in relevant field or OND equivalent upper credit with 2 years' experience.

3.) Technologists II

Requirements

• Full Technologist Certificate (Technician of the City and Guide in relevant field OR A.I.S.R or H.N.D./B.Tech. In Science Lab. Tech, plus post NYSC Certificate. Anybody seeking Technologist II position must be at least an Associate member of the Nigerian Institute of Science Laboratory.
• Technologist (ANIST or Associate member of Medical Laboratory Scientist (AMLS) in the case of Medical/Clinical Technologists.

4.) Technologists I

Requirements

• Full Technologist Certificate (Technician of the City and Guide in relevant field OR A.I.S.R or H.N.D./B.Tech. In Science Lab. Tech, plus post NYSC Certificate. Anybody seeking Technologist I position must be at least an Associate member of the Nigerian Institute of Science Laboratory.

5.) Senior Technologists

Requirements

• Full Technologist Certificate (Technician of the City and Guide in relevant field OR A.I.S.R or H.N.D./B.Tech. In Science Lab. Tech, plus post NYSC Certificate.
• Anybody seeking Senior Technologist position must be at least an Associate member of the Nigerian Institute of Science Laboratory.
• Technologist (ANIST or Associate member of Medical Laboratory Scientist (AMLS) in the case of Medical/Clinical Technologists. Plus at least 7 years Post Qualification experience.

6.) Principal Technologists

Requirements

• Full Technologist Certificate (Technician of the City and Guide in relevant field OR A.I.S.R or H.N.D./B.Tech. In Science Lab. Tech, plus post NYSC Certificate.
• Anybody seeking Principal Technologist position must be at least an Associate member of the Nigerian Institute of Science Laboratory.
• Technologist (ANIST or Associate member of Medical Laboratory Scientist (AMLS) in the case of Medical/Clinical Technologists. Plus at least 10 Post Qualification.

7.) Assistant Chief Technologists

Requirements

• Full Technologist Certificate (Technician of the City and Guide in relevant field OR A.I.S.R or H.N.D./B.Tech. In Science Lab. Tech, plus post NYSC Certificate.
• Anybody seeking Assistant Chief Technologist position must be at least an Associate member of the Nigerian Institute of Science Laboratory.
