Job Summary
The Client Sales Manager is responsible for seeking new business opportunities, initiating and building favorable and professional client relationships, generating leads, delivering client-focused technology solutions to customers and closing business deals with a goal to achieving assigned sales targets in line with the Company’s roadmap and product/solution lines.
Some network security solutions offered include but are not limited to Fortinet NGFW, Forescout NAC, Ixia NPB, Palo-Alto NFGW, f5 LTM, Arbor etc.
Responsibilities
Lead the execution of sales strategies and plans focused on achieving overall sales targets
Build new business relationships and develop existing ones, identifying possible areas to upsell or cross-sell
Lead the preparation of proposals that address customers’ technology-focused needs
Give sales presentations to high-level and C-suite level executives
Communicate with prospects to understand their needs and collaborate with internal teams to find suitable, sustainable network and digital infrastucture solutions that best fit the individual needs of the customer
Work with the Product Sales and engineering teams to deliver effective Proof of Concept (POC) that addresses your client’s business problems
Work with senior management to negotiate contracts and successfully close agreements to maximize profits
Drive the identification and growth of opportunities within different territories
Take responsibility for individual and team sales targets
Take responsibility for building, updating and tracking the sales pipeline and ensure accuracy and correctness of information
Liaise with the PMO and engineering teams to ensure the timely and successful delivery of solutions according to customer needs and objectives
Take responsibility for resolving sales and client-related issues
Give regular progress reports to senior management on sales activities
Requirements
Minimum Bachelor's degree. Prefered background in Computer Science or Engineering
5+ years of B2B and enterprise IT sales experience with proven results. This is a key requirement for the role
Knowledge of key network security and digital infrastucture solutions
Ability to identify opportunities, build and maintain relationships with customers at all levels, including C-level
Proven work experience as an 1Account Manager, Sales Manager or other relevant role
Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization
Ability to juggle multiple accounts at a time, while maintaining attention to detail
Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Excellent interpersonal skills and a positive attitude
Articulate and well-spoken with excellent phone and email etiquette
Resilient with strong organization and relationship building skills
Ability to build rapport and collaborate with others within the company and externally.
