Job Title: Corporate Recruiter and People's Manager
Locations: Abuja, Adamawa and Lagos
Job Brief
Reporting to the CEO, the Corporate Recruiter and People Manager will serve as a business partner and lead full life cycle recruitment for both Infohob and its clients’ vacancies
This individual will be responsible for developing multiple sourcing channels to attract the best active and passive candidates while leveraging technology to ensure an effective and efficient process that produces results.
This person will be responsible for building and maintaining excellent relationships with both hiring managers and candidates to ensure that Infohob is hiring the highest caliber of talent within the market
The position holder will also coordinate the development and implementation of people management policies and programs and advise management on people issues as they arise within the Organisation
Responsibilities
Corporate Recruitment:
Leadership and Direction
Communicate the function's strategy and its relationship to the organization's mission, vision and values; clarify the actions needed to implement it within the area of responsibility; motivate people to commit to these in order to achieve the organization's business goals
Functional Strategy Formation:
Lead the development and implementation of corporate talent acquisition for Infohob and its clients
Recruitment:
Hold overall responsibility for the design, development, and implementation of the organization's recruiting strategy
Hold ownership of the entire hiring process, including interview coordination, acquiring candidates & interview team feedback, generating or facilitating offer letter packages and requisition maintenance
Lead partnership and recruiting efforts with external headhunter firms/agencies; negotiate service agreements when needed
Individual Candidate Assessment:
Lead the assessment of candidates for open roles using a range of interview, assessment center, and psychometric-based test evidence; provide insightful feedback into the resourcing process
Candidate Pipeline:
Develop and maintain a candidate pipeline through personal networking,
research, social media and a variety of talent attraction and engagement methods and processes
Build and position Infohob’s value proposition and story in a compelling manner that attracts key talent to the organization and ensure a positive candidate experience
Future Talent Recruitment:
Lead the recruitment of graduates and/or school leavers to create a future talent pipeline; engage with the organization's leaders to clarify future talent needs; identify and build relationships with educational institutions and key career fair organizers; direct the creation of recruitment campaigns
Client Relationship Management:
Build strong relationships with business leaders, understand their hiring needs, establish trust and credibility while delivering results
Lead the development of partnering relationships with internal and external hiring managers, building high levels of professional credibility and mutual trust, and ensuring that high-quality candidates are presented
Work with hiring managers to ensure compliance with audit, regulatory and legal requirements with all federal/state laws and regulations
Management Support:
Provide effective talent-related decision support through the use of timely and meaningful data, analysis, recruiting metrics such as time to fill, cost per hire, etc and dashboards
Onboarding:
Responsible for onboarding all new hires internally and ensuring the onboarding of clients’ new hires likewise
People Management:
Provide leadership for the People Management function and lead the development of department goals, objectives and systems
Develop, implement and monitor people management strategies, systems and initiatives, ensuring that they align with the overall business strategy
Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other related issues
Provide support to employees on various people management-related topics such as leave processing, welfare, compensation and resolve any issues that may arise
Determine and recommend employee relations practices necessary to establish a positive employer-employee relationship and promote a high level of employee morale and motivation
Develop and monitor an annual People Management budget
Hold responsibility for payroll management and ensure compliance with all statutory agencies
Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance
Maintain employee files and records with the highest level of confidentiality
Ensure compliance with labor regulations
Assess training needs and develop and monitor training programs
Keep the CEO and the executive team informed of significant problems that jeopardize the achievement of company goals, and those that are not being addressed adequately at the line management level
Lead the implementation of Infohob’s safety and health programs
Qualifications
Our preferred candidate should possess the following:
A minimum of five (5) years of progressive experience in a similar role
A first degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Psychology, Computer Science, Law or Economics
Membership of CIPM or any other relevant professional certifications
Exposure to a structured organization within the Telecoms/IT sector
Experience in designing talent attraction and workforce development solutions
Expert knowledge on executing modern talent attraction strategies through highly diverse deployment channels
Aptitude in problem-solving
Previous experience operating in a consultative and/or advisory capacity required
Excellent communication and people skills
Excellent skills in influence, negotiation, collaboration, and handling difficult conversations
Skilled with competency and behavior-based interview and assessment
Knowledge of state and federal employment laws
Ability to demonstrate managerial courage and provide timely and actionable constructive feedback
Demonstrated self-motivation, energy and tenacity in achieving results; and ability to work in a fast-paced, growing environment
Salary
N150,000.00 monthly
