Job Title: Product Manager

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full Time

Role Overview

• The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background with proven experience bringing new cloud software products to market either as a member of the software development or product management teams
• This role requires someone who can take ideas from concept to reality and work well within an entrepreneurial and collaborative environment.
• The Product Manager would support the development and execution of the product strategy in line with business objectives
• Responsible and accountable for the growth of allocated product portfolio
• Support the delivery of Adoption, Retention and Usage KPIs for identified product offerings.

Responsibilities Include

• Responsible for building highly usable and compelling product features
• Translate high level product roadmap and strategy into short and simple-to-understand product requirements
• Act as Product Owner to multiple sprint teams developing user stories, managing the backlog, and acting as “Voice-of-the-Customer”
• Collaborate with various stakeholders from engineering, design, customer success, sales, and senior management on a regular basis
• Validate use cases for customer problems, collaborate on the design of solutions to those problems, and iterate and test those designs
• Help to maintain product roadmap documents.
• Be a representative of the team and communicate status to stakeholders and respond to feedback.

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree
• Experience: 2 - 4 years.

Required Skills and Experience:

• 3+ years of product management experience
• Previous experience working on a software product for B2B and B2C
• Ability to learn quickly and a desire to learn all aspects of development, including those areas outside of your comfort zone
• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience
• Excellent analytical skills; ability to quickly understand complex problems and recommend solutions.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• Experience working on a SaaS application
• Experience supporting container technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker and AWS
• Experience developing software systems from early stage/incubation through general availability (GA)
• Track record working on innovative and entrepreneurial projects, either within a large organization or in a startup.
