Pillarcraft Nigeria - Our client, Anadariya Farm is a trusted provider of food and agricultural products in emerging markets with a history dating back over 30 years. They are a fully vertically integrated organization with assets including more than a million square feet of poultry rearing area, significant agricultural land, grain storage facilities, feed manufacturing, poultry processing, warehousing, and logistics.

They are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Poultry Farm Book-keeper

Location: Bebeji, Kano

Job Description

• We require the services of a bookkeeper (Male or Female) in her poultry farm in Kano.

Responsibilities

• Recording transactions such as income and outgoings, and posting them to various accounts.
• Processing payments.
• Conducting daily banking activities.
• Producing various financial reports.
• Assist in reconciling bank statements.
• Record and pay accounts payable.
• Issue invoices to and collects from customers.
• Calculate pay and issue payments to employees.
• Assist in creating financial statements and related financial reports.
• Remit payroll taxes, sales taxes, use taxes, and income taxes.
• Account for fixed assets
• oversee a company's financial data and compliance by maintaining accurate books on accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and daily financial entries and reconciliations.
• Assist in monthly financial reporting,
• general ledger entries, and record payments and adjustments.

Requirements / Qualifications

• Applicants should possess a good B.Sc or HND in Accounting.
• Applicant must possess a minimum of 1-year of working experience as a farm accountant.
• Applicant must be resident in Kano
• Applicant must be available for immediate resumption
• Individuals who have worked in a POULTRY FARM as an accountant and are members of a professional Accounting body (or in-view) will have an advantage.

Salary
N50,000 / month.
