Van Sales Representative at a Reputable Food and Beverage Company

A reputable Food and Beverage Manufacturing Company located in Sango Otta, Ogun State is one of the leading beverage company in Nigeria and in other Foreign country. Incorporated in Nigeria in 2004 and started operation in the same year, the company produces both milk and carbonated drink.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Van Sales Representative

Location: Yola, Adamawa
Employment Type: Full Time

Responsibilities

• Drive availability and visibility in all relevant outlets in assigned territory/district.
• Ensure availability of ALL SKUs (unless for designated brands) in relevant outlets
• Identify and recruit new outlets and/or strengthen customer loyalty in existing outlets.
• Collate and submit all relevant reports (market intelligence, outlet census, Stock Balance, etc.) promptly
• Monitor balance and product freshness of stock in distributor warehouse
• Monitoring and ensuring responsible use of sales vehicle and other company assets
• Complete sales visits as defined by route/coverage plan.
• Communicate sales promotions and marketing campaigns to customers.
• Introduce and sell new stock lines to customers.
• Liaise with the primary sales team (RSM and Sales Reps) to ensure all products required by customers are in stock and available in distributors’ warehouses.
• Accurately invoice customers in the manner prescribed by the company, always double checking to ensure 100% accuracy.
• Ensure products are well merchandized at retail outlets.

Job Requirements

• Minimum of ND.

Required Experience:

• 2-4 years of experience working in a food manufacturing company
• Strong communication skills.
• Good reporting skills.
• Ability to work a full-time flexible schedule, including some early morning and weekend shifts, to work overtime as needed, and to respond to urgent issues at the store when they arise.

Required Competencies:

• Deep Knowledge of the different beverage product brands and pricing
• Negotiation & Persuasion Skills
• Strong written and verbal communication. Strong problem-solving skill.

Salary

• N40,000 monthly.
