Job Title: Fashion Analyst / Illustrator

Job Brief

• We are looking for a talented fashion analyst/ illustrator to create original pieces of artwork for print and digital publications. The core of the stated role is illustration.
• For this role, you will be creating collections of designs for both male and female individuals covering all categories of designing and being able to interpret designs for production. If you can use your creative skills to turn messages and ideas into appealing illustrations, we would like to meet you.
• Ultimately, you will create illustrations that meet quality standards under ambitious deadlines.
• Experience with illustrator tools and design technology. Also, has sound knowledge of the production value chain.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that printed illustrations meet quality and color standards requirements.
• Drawing skills with an attention to detail (both by hand and digital pen)
• Ability to create designs based on trend for both male and female categories.
• Brainstorming with the marketing and design team to come up with image ideas.
• Preparing and designing rough draft illustrations according to client specifications.
• Refining image design using illustration software.
• Ensuring that printed illustrations meet specified color and quality standards.
• Coordinating the internal design process and interface with external designers who seek to work with ADERAH.
• Analyzing and processing all external designers' submission (i.e. conceptualization, interpretation, production etc.)
• Leading the venting process of designs from external designers and collaborating to get the best possible outcome

Requirements

• A minimum of HND in Fine Arts or or relevant qualification.
• Portfolio of completed illustrations.
• Prior work experience as an Illustrator, graphic designer, or similar.
• Work experience using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
• Drawing, painting and digital drawing skills.
• Hands-on experience with computer-aided design (CAD) software
• Solid knowledge of image editing and digital sketching software, like Photoshop, Indesign and Adobe Illustrator
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Strong conceptual and artistic skills. Excellent communication skills in written and oral manner are required
